Corna Storr - isn’t just your typical independent coffee store (storr); it’s a tasteful blend of coffee + food, drawing inspiration from travel and design to infuse urban culture into the Rhos on Sea neighbourhood.
It was an idea, years in the making. We’ve meticulously crafted a space that reflects the talents of various makers and designers, each contributing their expertise in food, graphic design, and architecture to create a contemporary environment for an exceptional coffee experience. Our goal? Simply to establish the kind of coffee shop we’d love to frequent ourselves.
Inside, you’ll find carefully curated, handcrafted furniture alongside unique pieces designed and built right here in north Wales, drawing inspiration from contemporary Scandinavian aesthetics.
Paying homage to the previous 80’s Cycling Shop (Ron Holland Cycles), our identity intertwines elements from cycling icons Merckx and Mongoose, influencing the typography seen throughout our branding, with a subtle nod to the yellow jersey.
Our commitment to being climate positive is evident in every aspect of our processes, from sourcing planet-friendly coffee to championing local producers and growers, right through to our flooring which is constructed from 98% natural cocoa materials.
Our Neighbourhood shops are important to us and if we can help to make that little corner of Rhos on Sea that little bit better for a Corna Storr being there. We achieve this by enriching the lives of everyone we encounter our team, guests, suppliers, landlords, the local community, and the wider coffee community. We believe true success is best when shared, and we embody this philosophy in our daily endeavors.
Ultimately, our mission is simple: we’re kind to people, and we serve very nice coffee.
